My Editing Process
I believe that my role as an editor is to help you shape your book so it brings out your story, in your voice, the way you want it told. Every editor is different, so here is my process: I edit in Microsoft Word and utilize Track Changes. I also make use of the comment bubble function to tell you what my impressions are and what I’m thinking at different points of the story. In addition, I prepare a separate document where I give you my overall thoughts and impressions and anything that doesn't fit in the comment bubbles.
While I enjoy editing a variety of projects, I do not accept graphic horror, erotica, or manuscripts with extreme violence. Please contact me with any questions at rebblevins at yahoo dot com.
